About Dr. Ken Kilgore in Woodstock

My approach is simple. I believe that health is among our most valuable possessions. And while I often meet people after they’ve lost their health, my commitment is two-fold:

1. Relief Care in Woodstock
Relief or wellness care... it's your choice.

When many people seek care in my office they have one goal: relief. So that’s where I start! During this initial stage of intensive care, I have several obligations:

  • Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
  • Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible
  • Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery
  • Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care
2. Wellness Care in Woodstock

I encourage my patients to achieve the highest levels of health they can. Through educational opportunities (like this website), I hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. My desire is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.

You’re the Boss

Regardless of your health goals, please understand that I see myself as a mere servant. You’re the boss! It’s your body, your health and your future. My mission is to offer you the finest chiropractic care possible, and it’s up to you to decide how much of it you want.

Dr. Ken Asks some important questions of interest to Woodstock residents - Chiropractor Woodstock Dr. Ken Asks...

Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Woodstock and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic patient knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
What causes subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
